When the green mat is laid flat from the curled state, there will be a bulge at the ends. You can twist the curl a few times to eliminate the bulge. When you are ready to store your green mat, start with the bottom of the basal layer up, roll the basal layer inside and the turf outside. This will keep the surface of the green out of creasing. Rolling the turf inwards may result in irrecoverable deformation of the green surface.
